"It is More Blesssed to Give Than to Receive"

I seem to have been blessed with some lovely pressies over recent days.
It all started a couple of weeks back when I was given this lovely pink polka dot cushion

I was also given this charming tin of biccies, in celebration of the birth of Princess Charlotte...

...it will be an excellent companion for this tin given to me to celebrate the Queens Diamond Jubilee.
Like its counterpart, I anticipate the new tin being used to store buttons in. Who doesn't love button tins aye! For me, one doesn't seem to be enough though.. I LOVE buttons!

Then a couple of days ago my neighbour's son left this pretty plant in my porch for me! A lovely surprise to open the door and find  it waiting for me. Being white it looks good with the white beach theme we have going on in the fireplace.
I found a little tin beach bucket in the shed, no doubt from a previous plant, which was the ideal size...polka dot too!

Yesterday my niece brought me these beautiful flowers, the purple and pink looked perfect together

She also gave us a box of sweeties :)

I feel very spoilt and am reminded that it is more blessed to give than to receive....so to all of you who have blessed me with these lovely gifts...thank you... you will receive your reward one day.

Today has been a pottering sort of day. Taking Teen One ( completely recovered I am glad to say) to work, via college to collect those all important AS results three C's and a B...well done Teen One, we know how hard you have worked.
Teen Two and I took a quick trip to town, only to be in the middle of a very heavy thunder storm!
We popped in to see Grandma for a quick cuppa, then home to dry out.
Teen Two gave Crystal a much needed grooming, in this heat the shedding of hair is endless!

That seems to be our day really, aside from all the usual bits of cleaning, ironing, making a batch of Elijah bread and of course dinner.

I seem to have lost my mojo as far as any hooky work is concerned....too tired by the end of the day I think. No doubt it will come back, if anyone finds it before me do let me know!
