Despite our room overlooking the motorway, we had a fairly good nights sleep, although it's never the same in a hotel bed as at home. We quite a nice view to look out on as well.
After a leisurely start to the day with a cuppa and a read in bed, it was time for a late brekkie
the boys as usual went for a full English breakfast....
...whilst I started off with a bowl of hot porridge, covered with fresh fruit and maple syrup.
( But must confess to having a teeny bit of cooked afterwards!)
It was then time for a dip in the pool for the boys...
whilst I sat on the sidelines and started a crossword.
Before we knew it, it was time to pack up, including the little array of soft toys that always accompany us, and check out.
The journey home was long and slow...but not without drama!
Now when children lose a front tooth, there is something rather endearing about it....
...even clipart characters have a certain charm
but when Hubby's front crowned tooth broke off and fell out as he was eating a baguette, it was a time of great mourning and certainly not something to be photographed and blogged!
So tomorrow its a call to the dentist to see what his options are....its doubtful it can be re crowned. For the time being he is a sight for sore loved eyes!

What a 'full' day, both with the breakfast and your activities!!! What a shame about the tooth, horrible experience, hopefully you'll get it sorted tomorrow.xxxxx
ReplyDeleteAnother full day - breakfast looks lovely (the boys ones!). Shame about the tooth - I, like most men, know what pain is really like so I can sympathise. If only women really knew what we had to go through....
ReplyDeleteha ha! The real pain is going to come when we find out how much its going to cost..an implant is around £2000...can you hear me crying from here?
DeleteOops to the tooth - my friend lost a crown in Verona and, as you say, the cost is eye watering!
