A Working Girl Again?

 

This morning was a real break from routine!

I had been invited to take part in a Market Research session at my local Morrisons.

Talk about what I liked and didn't like, how an up and coming refurb could be made more customer friendly.

Nine of us were taken to the staff training room where there were bowls of sweeties and water for us all.

I was very good and didn't have any sweets! But mainly because they weren't what I liked if I am honest!

It was an interesting hour and a half and I happened to know at least three of the other people, having done the home school visit for their little ones before they started school....they are now in Year 9 so that's some years ago!!

 

 

Not only was it an interesting morning, and one where I know one or two of my comments will actually be acted on, I got paid £35 for my time!!!

That has got to be the easiest money I have ever made!

Not having earned a proper salary for many years its a real thrill to earn some now and again.

As much as I like my job as a homemaker/housewife/full time mum, whatever you want to call it, I do miss going out to work and earning some pennies.

 

 

The afternoon was a little more ordinary, some ironing, laptop researching with Teen One, and then more bunny bonding.

It started off with Benjy sneaking in the odd nip now and again....

 

 

 

...but Flora was intent on following him....

 

 

...they felt comfortable enough to groom themselves right next to each other....

 

 

 

 

...and they have spent the last hour nuzzled up together!

We have yet to see them grooming each other and we of course have the hurdle of introducing them to the territory they both claim for their own, but I understand once they have bonded that isn't an issue....but I am not holding my breath on that one.

But for today I am one happy bunny myself that we have made so much progress....I still have nightmares about the ugly incident on Monday!

 

 

Teen One had offered to make dinner earlier, which freed me up to bunny sit...

...it's the first time I have blogged from the bathroom!

And the first time Teen Two will have eaten his dinner in the bathroom!

We want to leave them for as long as possible for the bond to be solid.
