Today is one of our favourite Saturday's in the year...when we go to a Pumpkin Festival.
All things pumpkiny are celebrated ( and barely a hint of Halloween)
This quilting stall always has lovely items and I was sorely tempted to buy one of this pumpkins.
This flower display looked lovely don't you think?
There is always a competition to see who has grown the biggest pumpkin...
...some were too big to take off the trailer...
...they were measured to see which was biggest...
...and small ones were sold for charity....we chose these two squashes to add to our fireplace display.
For lunch I had pumpkin curry...
...Teen One chose a cheese and pepperoni crepe....
...Teen Two went for the sweet option first, a Nutella and marshmallow crepe.
Hubby had a bacon roll...and Teen Two had later on.
We all enjoyed a homemade pumpkin pie for dessert.
Teen Two always makes a beeline for the circus skills tent...
...Hubby joined him and is a dab hand at using the diablo!
Later in the afternoon we went to a church conference.
We enjoyed the preachers and of course the Teens always enjoy the tea.
I caught up with some friends I hadn't seen for a while and Teen One also caught up with some friends.
Now back home, you can guess what I am just in the mood for....some gently jigsaw puzzling!
