What... No Title Deeds?!

Today has been one of those running around days....
starting with taking Teen Two to school for English revision...

...back to town to take my "Monday Recycled Teenager" shopping...

...back along the motorway to collect Teen Two...

...through the Golden Arches drive thru for a half term treat for the Teens....Mayo Chicken burger, at 99p its a bargain!

Back home to unpack the shopping....

...back up the motorway to take Teen Two for his Computer Science revision ( such a pain having a three hour gap between the sessions today)

With just an hour for the afternoon session, it wasn't worth going home, so I took Teen One for a milkshake at their favourite US Diner....

...whilst the peanut butter and banana milkshake sounded lovely...I contented myself with a skinny latte.

It was soon time for the last motorway journey of the day, finally back home.

With dinner in the oven, I banned Teen One from the kitchen and set to creating something for tomorrow!
It was fraught with pitfalls, which I can share with you tomorrow!

Some good news I can share...Hubby had to see the Doctor today for a review of his blood pressure medication....good news is they have done the trick after only a few weeks...more  good news, the blood test from last week showed the meds aren't affecting his kidney function ( one of the side effects) so he is to continue on the meds and be reassessed next month.

Some disappointing news to share....we had a letter from Santander today saying they have informed Land Registry they no longer have any claim on our home ( good news!) but have informed us that any mortgages completed after 2003 no longer get the title deeds, these remain with the Land Registry, electronically filed.
If we want a copy ( and there are various options of what to apply for) we must pay!
I am feeling a tad robbed!
I was looking forward to seeing who bought the house, when, and how much they paid for it!
Oh well, minor in the grand scheme of things, the important thing is  we own it now!

Today's Verse:
As we have therefore opportunity, let us do good unto all men, especially unto them who are of the household of faith.

  1. What a shame about the deeds. They always make for interesting reading. I'm sure the cake will be lovely! Hope teen one has great day tomorrow. Can't believe its eighteen years ago since she was born. Xxxx
