More Fun With Daisy!

The morning started with more puppy  cuddling!

The camera was busy at work most of the morning....in between much cuddling myself of course!

Who can resist this little bundle of fluff and fun!

No matter how she poses, she always looks so cute!

She seemed to enjoy the doggie biscuits we made for her.

And the new toy was a hit too.

But at the end of the day, Millie is her greatest source of entertainment!

Before long it was time to be thinking of saying goodbye.
It was always going to be a long journey back, but we did have the thrill of seeing our first snow for the winter!

Whilst Teen Two wished we could get out and build a snowman...Hubby had the job of driving up hill on the slippery stuff!
Snow is great to look at but not so good for driving on!

After about three hours of driving, we stopped off for some lunch at a "Fayre and Square" restaurant, which offered cheap but tasty food with plenty of choice.

After lunch, we headed down to Cambridge for Hubby's project to recreate pictures from a book over a hundred years old.
He managed to get at least one picture (to follow) and we enjoyed the beautiful scenery as we drove through this spectacular city.
It was a rather long drive home, with the M25 causing its usual issues...but what do you expect when you hit it at rush hour!
Once home, unpacking the car, we remembered this fantastic treat FQ2FF had given us...many months supply of ginger biscuits!
Having heard about our mini crisis with the nationwide shortage...she managed to source some for us!!
What a hero!
We shall think of her every morning as  we dunk one of this delicious treats in our morning cuppa!

Its been a lovely weekend, and we now have the pleasure of our niece for a few days.
She is here for her Uni interview, for which she has already been given an offer....we are very excited for her, especially if it means she is near by for the next three years!

Today's Verse:
But to us there is but one God, the Father, of whom are all things, and we in him; and one Lord Jesus Christ, by whom are all things, and we by him.
